"The 5 Love Languages" Review

WHAT A GREAT BOOK!!!

I thought I was fairly familiar with the 5 love languages, but I decided I needed to read the book anyway.... It's amazing!

Why is this book so great?!

1. It doesn't just talk about the 5 Love Languages

I really thought that this book just went over the 5 love languages and how to discover them/apply them. NOPE! Before he even gets to that good stuff he talks about how people "fall out of love" or at least they think they do...

Couples come to him saying:

"What if we don't love each other anymore?"

"I don't feel like they love me the same as when we were dating/first married"

"Can I love someone who hates me?

There is so much marriage advice packed into this little book, it's fantastic!

2. It has literally SAVED MARRIAGES!

There are multiple times in the book where Dr. Chapman mentions a couple that came to him on the brink of divorce... He explained the 5 love languages, had them practice, BAM! It was like a whole new marriage.

Okay, I know I'm making it sound like magic... but seriously this can be the trick to saving a marriage. Why? Because people need to feel appreciated.

5 love languages = showing appreciation = Happy Marriage
